Christopher received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford in 2012. He then spent 3 years as a research and development scientist for the bio-pharmaceutical company MicroPharm. Here he worked on immunotherapeutic products for clinical treatment of infectious diseases and acute toxic events.
His current work at Plymouth Marine Laboratory as a PhD researcher focuses on utilising the capabilities offered by High Speed - Atomic Force Microscopy to characterise the interactions between coccolithoviruses and their coccolithophore hosts.
